Appoint embodies Scandinavian design through soft, organic curves and a solid wooden beam that adds warmth to cool and minimalist interiors. This beam sofa is a natural choice for various public settings – from gate lounges and waiting areas at airports to reception zones and large open-plan spaces requiring stationary seating with defined seats. Appoint is designed for high seating comfort and durability, ensuring minimal disturbance when others take a seat next to you. The design is adapted to stringent hygiene requirements and Appoint can be upholstered in easy-to-disinfect faux leather, making it an ideal option for healthcare environments such as hospitals and dental clinics – or other high-traffic spaces.
Flexible function for every layout
Appoint allows you to create versatile configurations tailored to any environment. Its flexible beam construction makes it easy to adapt to complex layouts, such as irregular wall and doorway dimensions often found in care facilities. Arrange Appoint against a wall, back-to-back in the middle of the room, or around a corner.
Mix seats with tables and armrests, with table angles adjustable to suit your needs. Select materials and finishes to harmonise with the surroundings – warm, tactile textiles for offices or faux leather for healthcare settings with strict hygiene requirements.
Hygiene-focused design
Appoint features a separated seat and back – a so-called crumb gap – for easier cleaning. Its leg design also supports hygiene, offering less contact with the floor compared to traditional T-shaped bases. Appoint is available with raised and extra-wide seats and can be equipped with wheelchair-accessible seating options.

Wooden beam and re-upholstery on site
Unlike many beam sofas made from steel or aluminium, Appoint’s beam is crafted in wood, resulting in a significantly lower carbon footprint. Thanks to its layer-by-layer design, Appoint is also easy to renovate and update – simply replace the seat, back or legs when needed. The upholstery can be swapped using zips on the seat and back, a unique feature for this type of furniture, allowing re-upholstery to be carried out on site. Appoint is Möbelfakta certified, and the wood is FSC® certified (FSC-C009111) from responsibly managed forests and other controlled sources.
